The 7th Annual Cherry Parmer Flower Giveaway is a heartfelt tribute to Cherry Parmer, the former supervisor of the City of Center Point Horticulture Department, who tragically lost her life on October 18, 2018, while planting flowers along Center Point Parkway. To honor her memory and her passion for beautifying the city, the Center Point Horticulture and Code Enforcement departments established this annual event, allowing the community to come together and celebrate her legacy. This year’s giveaway will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Center Point Community Center (533 Sunhill Road NW, Center Point, AL 35215).
