Stephen Strickland ("DJ STRICK") is a soldout brother for the Lord. DJ Strick hosts Gospel Jamz Sunday mornings from 8 to 10. During the show, he is able to minister through Gospel music bringing the message of Jesus Christ. The music that Stephen plays provides a positive alternative to what the world has to offer. People young and old are encouraged and uplifted by the music they hear.

Stephen's ministry is to teach young people that being a Christian is a lifestyle. He uses music to teach them to not be ashamed to praise and honor God. He shows, by example, the blessings that come as a result of being a child of God and living a life that is pleasing to Him.

He is a husband to his wife Terri and a father to his twin sons Joshua and Jason.

Stephen is a member of The Guiding Light Church where he is active in the Media Ministry and the Teens of Light Ministry. Stephen is employed with BellSouth Mobility as the manager of the Wal-Mart kiosks in Birmingham and Jasper.

Stephen has been invited to several churches to speak to young people and inspire them to be all that God has called them to be. He has also emceed programs and been the DJ at concerts and other church events.

Stephen's mission is to use the gifts and talents that God has given him in the skills of management and sales to promote what he calls the "New Gospel Music". Stephen feels a personal desire to promote Gospel Rap, Hip-Hop and R&B music not only to his friends but also to the world. He does this as a ministry to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
